I began my walk with the Lord when I was 9 years old. My parents raised
us in church, but God chose to use a babysitter (which we rarely had) to lead me
to salvation. I love the Lord Jesus with all of my heart and soul; and my
hearts' desire is to serve and obey Him. My prayer for many years is that I will
love Him more today than I did yesterday.
Gene and I have been
married for 27 ˝ years. We have 2 beautiful daughters - Tonya & Erin, and 2
sons-in-law - Josh Seed & Jacob Blue. Gene & I have attended Community
of Faith church for 24 plus years. I practiced cosmetology for 20 years, and
have been a Mary Kay sales director for 6 years. Little did I know that as I was
being trained to be a sales director and in learning how to run my unit, God was
also training me for this position.
I knew last Spring that God
was bringing a change in my life… but it wasn't until this February that He
revealed it to me. He spoke to me through various sermons by Todd and Dave, and
also through an in depth Bible study. I am very excited by what He's doing, and
greatly anticipating what is in the future for our women! At this time, I don't
know all that He has in mind for us to do; but I know He's going to show me as I
go. This is how it's happened so far. I am walking in obedience with what He's
shown me, having full faith that as we take this journey together, He will
continue to be faithful leading us. One thing I have learned is that I
don't have to have it all figured out because He does! Our God is never late in
showing up!
Thank you for allowing me to serve you in this ministry.
You truly are a blessing to me and I love you. My heart cries with you in your
pain and laughs with you in your joy. I esteem you with the love and compassion
that the Lord Jesus Himself does, and you are very precious to me.
I Corinthians 2:9 No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no
mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him.
When we choose to walk with God rather than off the path to handfuls of
other options, we find His perfect will for our lives. We find our promised
land! I can hardly contain the excitement in my heart for what God has in store
for us! God is preparing to move in a powerful & mighty way! Each one of you
is a huge part in His plan being released. By being involved in the areas He is
showing you to be involved in, you are freeing Him up to
work!
